Subjobs

A Blue Mage can effectively use just about any support job you can think of. While some are more useful than others, every support job provides at least a few notable benefits. For example… whereas a Black Mage finds next to nothing from a Monk support job, Monk is surprisingly a very useful niche support job for Blue Mage. Read on to find out just what each and every job can provide the Blue Mage with.

Please note: This section is still under construction. Eventually, this page will contain information for every possible support job. /SAM, /SCH, /THF, and /WAR will be written next.

Dancer is actually a decent sub-job for blu when soloing or doing Campaign, I’m surprised it isn’t a listed sj on here. With Aspir Samba and Waltzes it actually gives consistent MP and HP returns and can easily solo campaign mobs and some high-level NMs while /dnc. A lot of people seem to shy away from /dnc out of concern over “TP” but w/ the right TP Build you can easily get 100% back in just a few swings for a light/distortion self-skillchain. Also taking into consideration Chain Affinity’s timer is at 1:40 secs w/ full group1 merits(yet who would waste group1 on Chain Affinity timer) people still complain about the use of TP for /dnc abilities. Seriously, people need to give blu/dnc a try outside of things like endgame activities, they would be surprised at it’s versatility.

Actually, I completely agree with you. The main problem is… I just haven’t finished writing the pages, ha ha. I chose to do Scholar first because I have more practical experience with it at hand and I’m still levelling DNC. I intend on creating a page for every possible support job, even trivial subs like BRD and SMN.
